Religion Is Dying. But Something Much Greater Is Waking Up

A call for humanity to rise beyond the God of yesterday and step into our own power.

In order to truly know that you are following the correct path, you have to consider the possibility that you are wrong.

And in order to consider the possibility that you are wrong, you have to let go of the embodiment of your religious beliefs for a moment.

And in order to do that, you have to understand that the greater feeling of intuition or God accompanies familiarity more than unfamiliarity.

It’s not an argument against intuition. It’s an awareness of how our intuition operates. It’s an awareness of energy fields and recognizing what creates those within and around us.

Humanity Is Waking Up

Religion is but the sleep cycles of the babe of humanity.

Imagine when you were a baby, with no comprehension, waking up to humanity and the realization of your new world.

Equally, humanity as a whole is waking up to a greater recognition of who we are, where we are, and the potential we possess.

Religion may be dying. But humanity is becoming more aware of itself and its place in the universe.

And in that awareness, God, spirituality, and the original intention of religion are manifested. Or shall I say, we become more connected to our intuition, the place it’s always been telling us we should go.

A Friendly Warning

God in our traditional religions is a dying metaphor of our savior.

He has not come in rapture or judgment.

Instead, we as humanity are the bearers of truth, and we alone are the saviors of our future.

As long as humanity relies on a God that comes not, we ask for deception, death, and the suppression of our highest abilities and knowledge.

My warning is friendly, but fully comprehended, it is of the most dire importance.

God did not die. The view of our past, the mourning of losing God, is a fight against the intelligence that makes up all things.

The agony of our aloneness can be comforted by the traditions of God.

But humanity risks being overtaken by tragedy again. And we have an opportunity.

My point is so much greater than fighting religion. So much more important than the vanity of trying to get you to become an atheist.

It’s about us. It’s about recognizing the truth of our situation so we can advance.

A Small Story

I have a wonderful older brother. He is still in the FLDS religion/cult. He can’t see a world, a truth, a God outside of the FLDS.

We all hope he sees it. We want him to live a happy life.

Personally, I want to tell him that this is it right here. And we as humans are each other’s keeper, and we can’t assume the views of past people (Prophets) and religious traditions mean more than our present reality.

I think most people reading this would agree.

But somehow we are all stuck in these religious views, or our assumptions, in the trenches of our own beliefs, and we can’t seem to see the horizon beyond.

As Long As We Hold Onto Our Old God

We will wonder when he is coming. We will assume we are going to be saved somehow.

Humanity won’t advance and prosper. YOUR CHILDREN WON’T BELIEVE YOU.

You must, we must as a society, turn the future into positivity and hope. We are constantly dragged down by a society that wants the old days to fit into our new comprehension.

What if we let the old God go and accept the vision we see with our eyes? Accept the questions we have the ability to ask?

It feels like society is determined to grasp what it cannot see.

If I were lost, I’d start by looking around. We could use books and listen to stories, but what greater evidence of our situation than that which we see with our own eyes?

It was Jesus who said something like, “They see yet cannot behold, and they hear but cannot comprehend.”

Our minds need to be freed. Society can only go backwards if we hold onto old habits while seeking a new understanding.

I know this firsthand. It’s deeply obvious after my experience.

God Is Here For You

The same intuition that guided our forefathers is within each of us.

The same power and determination. The future is BRIGHT if we choose to accept the truth we have and implement it into our future.

Consciousness, the seed of all that is, bears us up and carries us into further enlightenment.

And the power of God is right here with you when you use the opportunity of thinking and carve a path forward.

You can wait for Jesus, or you can accept that the full power of Jesus is available to you if you use the same power he did: your own mind.

“And greater things than I have done will you do.”

And perhaps within that power, within consciousness itself, is all the love that holds the universe together. And that power, that consciousness, that love may be the very foundation of your existence, harmonizing the unseen and infinite with our tangible bodies and the beauty of physical creation.

Then why not tap into consciousness and look at the bright future beyond? Why look for God when you may have all the capacity and energy of God within you?

Why did Jesus say “greater things will you do”? Because the exact same power is right within your reach. You have the same access Jesus did.

Conclusion

I love you. I love myself. I love humanity. And in the fragile existence of life, my most fervent prayer is that we can change our outlook on the future.

Instead of doom and gloom, which our current God has given, let us choose an exciting, glowing future.

Instead of the God that we fear and who is maybe someday going to come save us, let’s accept the power of love, of consciousness, and of truth within ourselves.

And while we should consider well before discarding the traditions of our fathers, let us not allow the mysteries of the past to hold greater importance than the reality we can see with our own eyes and feel with our own hands.

Religious traditions are good if you fully understand the purpose of them and they don’t pull us back into a past that we romanticize.

Our forefathers would love to live in this day. So let’s enjoy every second of it and grow in the love of a brighter future, which of course includes more love for one another.

Most importantly, let us strive for a mind that asks questions and an intuition that understands what and who is influencing us.

With love,

Jaden Jeffs
